When making a slight right on a curve or a right hand turn, the ding alarm goes off on our 2005 Sonata. Left turns are fine...only on right action. Any answer would be appreciated.

I'm going to say it sounds like one of your driver door latches are bad. The switch that tells the vehicle if the doors are open or closed in built into the latches.

This helped my daughter and I fix her Sonata. Two of three door latch screws were missing....the one left was loose. Tighten it down the problem went away. Had to order more screws. They have a specialty cone shaped washer to help the screw seat into the door frame.
