ONLY WHEN RAIN, DAMP OR SNOW CAR PUTTERS AND WILL STALL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Hyundai Sonata that runs terribly
every time it rains, snows or is damp outside. The
car will start but when in gear, bogs down or putters
and has stalled several times when idle. When it's
dry, the car runs pretty well. It has roughly 70,000
miles on it. I'm wondering if someone has
experienced this and may know the solution to
fixing this issue. Great timing, when it rains, it pours!
Or in my case, "when it rains, it stalls"

I have not but that's where I will start. I just assumed that the issue only happens when it's wet outside, that may be easier to pinpoint

2005 Hyundai Sonata 2.7L V6 199,890 on the odometer right now. All plugs are new. The valve gaskets and the intake gasket are all new. The purge valve is a year old. All this, and the check engine is still on and still keeps trying to die on me. It HATES the rain. Hates the damp. Not particularly fond of snow either. I live in ME, about 40min from the NH state line. We have alot of damp weather. It issss running better... but it is not perfect. I am changing the starter and plug wires next. The plug wires are original. The starter is too... the part I want to trouble shoot is the solenoid- because that can cause a crap ton of issues. Definitely hit YouTube. It has been my go to. Most of the repairs- I have done. I am inexperienced, but I have managed.
