how do i remove the stereo in my 2005 hyundai tiburon?

hello, the best investment for you is to go to the parts store and buy a shop manual, this will help alot, first remove the trim from around the stereo , its held with clips, carefully!!! then you will see the screws holding it in place, remove and disconnect stereo.

Pop ash tray out. Then put towards you. It's held in with clips.

Hello there, would you by any chance know why a stereo would quit working completely when I tried to exchange it for an aftermarket one? Any help here would be great.

don't listen to these other people about manuals and clips ..... get a 4 pound hammer and a crow bar .... I promise you, with a little effort you can even remove the engine. Hope that helped you out

when you do get the dash around the head unit out be sure to plug all the air conditioning wires back they way they should be or you will have a big problem down the road
