My 2004 Hyundai Elantra won't start. What could be causing for it to be completely dead?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Hyundai Elantra. It was driving smooth, 100% fine. No problems. Just filled up my tank. I was reversing out of my driveway and the car just shut off. No lights, noise nothing. So we replaced the battery just in case it was a bad battery or it was dead. And still nothing. There's no sign of life in the car. There wasn't a check engine light on so it was really weird that it shut off while backing out. Can someone help? i'm pretty desperate.

You have either a power issue or a ground issue. Make sure your battery terminals are tight. Then go to the PCM *car computer* make sure it has power going to it and the clip has a strong connection. if you do then check out the grounds that run under the battery. good luck
