Headlights and heater. Hyundai Elantra

I just bought a car. 2004 Hyundai Elantra!
When I bought it the heater worked and
the headlights ! I had to replace the battery.
Now the heater is no longer working! Nore
the headlights. And I can start my car and
go to drive it but it shuts off. And I can't
make it even half a mile down the road!

Its most likely the alternator, take it an autocrats store if possible they will tell you if it is bad. Given the fact that you have already replaced the battery, I am 99% positive that it what's wrong. Best of luck!
