What is the flashing red lite on my instrumental panel

Just changed water inlet?? (Just left of pcm) and now whn I insert key, a red lite
w a car and padlock symbol is flashing in left corner of instrument panel. And
car won't turn over or anythng

a padlock symbol means the anti theft has activated and you won't be able to start the car. Try disconnecting the negative battery for a few minutes and reconnect and see if the light goes out and use the correct key for the car.

You can also try locking and unlocking the vehicle with your fob. If that doesn't work you'll need to be towed to your local Ford Dealer for repairs. Hope that helps! Jim
