2010 Civic - "Check Fuel Cap" Message keeps appearing ..what to do ?
Twice I've gotten the message on my gauge readout, and I've gone and removed the cap and put it back on but the message keeps coming back. Is this a fuel filter issue? If so where is the fuel filter located on a 2010 Civic? What else should I check?

It's an emissions system fault somewhere

Car is still under warranty , I would hope it would still be covered , no?
Yep, and emissions systems are usually covered longer than any other component
fuel filter should be on the firewall top right

David is right, change the cap. Or take it to the dealer, it will probably be covered.
I changed the cap and nothing changed My check engine light comes on intermittently

it is probably a charcoal canister solenoid valve sticking occasionally
