Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I am so scared I made a bad call. Spent alot of money yesterday and I have no
idea about Hybrids. My husband doesnt either. We have two small kids who
are always with me. I have read a lot of bad reviews and really hope its not
the battery bc I see they are around $5,000.00 and I do not have that to
spend no time soon.

It is always a good idea to read the reviews BEFORE buying. Did you get a warranty with the car?
No warranty but it was a family friend so she assured me that whatever is wrong with it will be fixed. Its hard not to worry when you spend a lot of money on something and have to call for a rollback to come pick it up. I will let yall know as soon as they call me and let me know whats going on.
Yea I agree, I'm reading reviews after.... gosh I hope its nothing major or they exchange the vehicle.
well they sent me a message last night and said it was a sensor on the transmission and will be finished Friday. Well I sure hope that's it.. doesn't sound right to me. But what can I do?
The more complex a car is, the harder to diagnose and the more expensive the repairs. Hybrids are the most complex cars on the roads today.
yea i'm learning that. So wish I would have read more about them before buying it. But maybe everything will be fine and me and my boys want break down on the side of the road. Thank you for yalls help. I will keep yall updated on how it goes :)
