2010 dodge charger sxt revs while on drive

Bought a car couple months ago it was fine except a slight
stutter when going from a complete stop forward however
had an issue a couple days ago where the car would rev
even though it was on drive mileage is about 190k

probably why they sold it , cars are loaded with so much tech. trouble shooting something like that can be a nightmare , scan for codes even if the light ain't on , if it's not obvious you will need a technician that knows what they are doing , this excludes many "mechanics " and even dealerships
