How to these type of cars work??? do they work good??? are they reliable?

Hey Jose. I own an Elantra '03 myself and must say that other than having to replace Alternator belt a couple of times in the last 6 years, I have not stumbled across any major problem. Other than this, Hyundai cars are notorious for having cheap plasticky radiator heads which may need replacement once in 5 years or so. Elantra has been my daily driver since '04 and I have had a pretty low maintainence cost such as the ocassional air-con service. If you get one in second-hand for cheap, its totally worth the money and don't bother putting in a few bucks to spruce it up. She'll serve you well :)
