How did you know it looses sparks, did you turn the key and have a little kid put his tongue on the wire?, could it be it shut down for lack of fuel? How do you know it's not your fuel pump on the fritz?...apparently it's an electrical problem. Do these have distributor caps. perhaps a distributor block. You may do well to fuff in a cloud of WD-40 to stop any high-voltage leakage thru condensation.
Something is sensitive to heat soaking. Probably the coils. They get hot and stop working - cool down and work again.

tenspeed, realistically have you seen this condition, ever...in person or are we dealing with the probably will be variety?
Not only have I seen it, I had a car that did it. I had a car, my 67 Chevy II, that would lose power. I had no choice but to pull over and shut the motor off. Open the hood and let it sit for a half hour. After it cooled, it would start and drive normally. -- - Today's ignitions are much more complex. When the Hyundai acts up, spray some starting fluid in the intake to see if there is spark. Unplug/connect a few ignition system connectors to clean them while you are waiting.
its not the coils i allready both new ones

you tried a poof of WD-40? that stuff is magic with high-voltage-
