We own a Hyndai Sonata (2000) GL. I would like to know is it a 6 cylinder or a 4 cylder?

probley a 4 cylender,one way to be sure is count spark plug wires.

The 8th digit of your VIN, taken to any auto parts store, will tell you what engine you have. I believe the GL was standard with a 4-cylinder.
