2010 Santa fe making clicking sounds before starting

Asked by Herringnecker Oct 30, 2014 at 07:06 PM about the 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Santa fe has recently started making clicking noises when I go to start it. Sometimes
she engages right away without little or no clicking noises and sometimes she won't start
for a little while. It doesn't matter the time of day or how often I've used her that day it's
very random. Also the last couple evenings when I turn on the lights or turn them from
low beam to high beam the radio will cut out for a second or two and that too is random.
I'm just wondering are these related and is it leading up to something bigger?

I suspected that and therefore had the battery tested and they said the battery was good. Thanks for replying.
