2011 HYUNDAI SONATA CAR WONT START

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I drove my car yesterday morning, and it felt there was a slight slip in the
transmission. Parked car, went in the house. 5 hours later on my way out,
attempt to start the car (dashboard lights come on, the radio comes on,
headlights and windows work) the car make a sound like it going to turn over
and then just dies out. What could be the problem?

I’ve changed the battery, the car starts but now the check engine light stays on! And the Bluetooth stays connected to my car.
My engine seized 2 days ago wout warning driving 60mph on hwy. Other than replacing starter 1 yr ago no issues. Stopped w emerg brake. Had full power but wouldn't turn over. Found put recall on engines & should be covered fully under new warr from class action. 10yrs 120K miles even for used car buyers. Hope it's not your engine but sounds same as mine & hopefully covered. (85k miles on mine)
I know NOTHING about cars but do know to have someone perform basic maintenance. My car had no oil going to engine. My mechanic called me expecting the worst until found out about this engine issue. May also cover trans issues??? Can check recall list w last 8 digits of Vin #.
