Lincoln 2011 MKX battery keeps going out

Battery went out two months ago.  Car was completely dead but there was a clicking sound under the battery.  Replaced battery and everything has been fine.  This morning I walked out to go to work and there was that clicking sound again and the electrical system is dead.  Had to get roadside assistance to stop by the house and unlock the car.  Any thoughts?

No we actually just bought the vehicle in Jan of this year. It is like the starter is hanging up but I the noise sounds like it is coming straight from underneath the battery.

The battery in all new Lincoln's has to be reset with a professional scan tool whenever you replace the battery or when battery is disconnected or goes dead or whenever you have to have it jumped. The tablet kind of scan tool. Otherwise the vehicle's computer or ECM will overcharge the battery and your vehicle's battery will go dead. Especially, on hybrids.
