bmw316 automat petrol consume

Is it normal for bmw316 compact automat, 1996, 1.6l to use 15 litres of petrol??? first i thought there's a hole in the tank :))) everything has been checked - no one can say what is wrong...

depends. all cars will use 15 litres of petrol in the end. you dont say anything regards distance traveled or the style of driving. i have the e36 316 i auto and find if i drive within the speed limits it is very economical. should i use sport mode or m then i can use fuel faster than i can fill it up. [sounds nice when ya hit 6k revs tho ;-} ]
