Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the AC works fine when moving around town but when get on the high way it becomes very inefficient and hardly cools the atmosphere. this happens after 15 to 20 minutes on the  highway even though i only do 100 to 110 km/h

It sounds as if you have a clutch issue. This can become a problem at highway speeds.

Agreeded it may be an issue with your compressor clutch disengaging at higher speeds. You may need a new clutch assemble I know my dealerships don't sell it seperatly but maybe you can get one.

thank u guys- i've asked around and most people said it is the compressor, i can get the clutch compressor replaced for 80-90$ but it will be used or new but not original. the dealership doesnt sell the parts seperately. btw the ac seems to work fine at nights it only does that when the sun and heat are intense (only when u need it to function) so i'll see what i can do
