How can I permanently disable car alarm?

Asked by QueenSara Jan 27, 2021 at 07:10 PM about the 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The remote part of our key no longer works, so we manually lock it (with a key
or by hand). When we go to open it with a key, the alarm goes off until we put
the key in the ignition and turn the engine on. Is there a way to permanently
disable the car alarm? A wire we can cut, or .. ?

Not sure if this works for the endeavour but try getting in like you normally would then turn the car off and hold the wiper arm in the mist position for 3 seconds. If this works it should beep disabling the alarm.
