I have a 2006 Porsche Carrera S with 19" rims, Will it fit 20" rims - see details below

Asked by Carneeded Apr 17, 2015 at 07:35 PM about the 2006 Porsche Carrera GT

Question type: General

Considering buying 20" Titanium Dark rims for my 2006 Carrera S Prosche.  Currently my
carrera has 19" rims on it.  The rims I'm looking to buy already has tires on them.  The ad
for the new 20" tires are Rim Width:9.5"/Front 11"/Rear, Offset: 65/Front, 68/Rear, Tire
Brand: PIRELLI P ZERO "N1" radials, front are 255/40ZR-20, backs are 295-35-ZR-20.
Can someone tell me if these new 20" rim/tires will fit my Porsche?

I can't answer if they would fit, but you are likely to end up with worse ride quality and no improvement in performance or unsprung weight.

In general, if the new diameter of the tires are within about 1/2" of the stock tire diameter, they will fit. Doesn't matter the rim size, its the tire diameter that counts. The offsets in this case are important also because of the wheel widths. Are the 19" wheels stock? If your car came with 19" then it might work. And looking at those aspect ratio's, you're going to be at the mercy of any pothole. As Andy answered above, the ride will be horrible.
