2011 Toyota Rav 4 check engine, 4wd, and traction light

Asked by Alannis Dec 30, 2020 at 11:46 PM about the 2011 Toyota RAV4

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 toyota rav 4. I went and got my oil
changed and a few minutes after driving all 3 lights
came on (check engine, 4wd and traction lights) I
took it back to the place where I got my oil
changed, they told me something with the air hose.
I took it to autozone and the mass air flow code
came up. I had my dad look at it and he was able to
connect the hose fully. Has anyone else had this
issue and was that the cause?

I have a 2011 Toyota and they are programmed for those lights to come on with the check engine light. I had an oxygen sensor go bad and upon pulling out of my work, I had the traction control light and abs light come on. I have code readers so I read codes and replaced both the lower oxygen sensor and the upper A/F sensor and erased codes and car was fixed. I think toyota does this to make people bring their cars to them so you think more is wrong with them than really is. My advice is to pull codes first.
