If its an aftermarket radio its wired wrong. The yellow wire needs to go to 12 volt constant. The red to 12 volt at ignition only.
No the radio came with the car and worked until I changed the battery. Thank you for trying to help me!
Did you buy the car new? If you bought it used it still could be an aftermarket radio. Does the radio have a name on the front of it anywhere?
Yes we bought it used but it has worked fine for about 2 years. When we put the battery in Friday everything worked but it would not hold the time.
I am wondering if we have a wrong battery? I called Nissan and they said bring it in it could be the memory circuit on the radio. We have already checked the fuse. Thank you
Yea if the fuse is ok then it's time for a new radio. Don't buy one from Nissan. They will be WAY to expensive if you buy a factory replacement. You can get a much nicer aftermarket for half the price of one from the dealership. Plus the aftermarket one will have A LOT more options.
