2011 Subaru Tribeca engine swap?

I have oil leaks in my engine on my 2011 Subaru
Tribeca V6. The dealer wants $5000 to fix it. A
friend of mine has offered me her 08 outback with
a new short block Engine. Can they be swapped
out?

5 grand for oil leaks? Get a quote from an independent shop instead of the stealership!

I went to an independent shop, who said I should go to a dealership. Going to try another independent shop tomorrow!
