wont start

i bought the 2011 silverado 2 weks ago 3 differnt times i had to get it
boosted i checked with the previous owner and he  said the battery was new  
this time  it wont start even with a boost but  dome light comes on help

dead battery,Poor connections to the batter, starter, engine ground ,starter relay failed, bad starter. Alternator would be the root cause of the need for a jump and is probably failed due to burned out internal voltage regulator that occurs when you run the car on a low battery charge.
