Wiper not working on winter

I have a 11' Dodge Avenger, the wipers work fine but in winter they stop
working, there is no snow or ice just freaking cold. Everything works well all
year except in winter, need to fix before this winter starts
Any suggestion?

No, that gives me a good start point, never thought about a circuit or cable not making right connection. Any other advise to check?

My 2008 avenger had a wire chaff where it crosses the first wiper cross over connection about 3” past where it comes out the fire wall under the plastic wiper cover. Hope it helps someone caused an intermittent wiper stop or slow sometimes quite all together
