I don't trust these Butyl rubber hoses that are basically made from coal tar and chewing gum...they dry out and split...creating the condition that you are suffering from now...replace as many of these butyl rubber vacuum lines with silicone...you can tell when they are done because they can be ANY color...check the silicone hose suppliers...Gates rubbber and summitracing are just a few...they are usually found in "custom shops" for racing autos...same place that one might buy braided stainless steel aircraft fuel hose (as fuel line)~

a pliers (to get stuck ones) and a sharp scissors will be the only tools you'll need...okay maybe an inspection mirror (available at NAPA)~

Could be in the panel it self try moving the switch back and forth quickly pushing in moderately while doing so and then doing so again while slightly pulling on it this may possibly clean the contactors within the switch itself as there is separate switching for driver and passenger Heating and Cooling Pardon the grammar in the punctuation my education in schooling was not that great but electricity that I know Hope that helps let me know if it's anything different
