I have a 2007 Ford Taurus. I was getting a random misfire, had a tune up. Same code came back and got another tune up. Then they told me it was the coil pack, had that replaced. Now I am getting a random misfire on cylander 3. Any suggestions would be appreicated.

They told me there is only one coil pack. I have had two tune ups in the last year.

Correct, all the coil packs are in one module. I replaced mine with an aftermarket unit from AutoZone and it quickly failed. The real Ford part is only ~$90. Also, you may have a bad plud wire. A replacement set of plug wires is cheap and takes 5 minutes to replace. Try this first. Also, if you had "tune-up", did they replace the spark plugs? Were the correctly gapped, if so? Otherwise, put in new plugs with the new wires...
