So as far as I know my hyundai accent (21012) did not come with an AC but honestly i couldn't be sure all I know is that we dont have anything to cool us off, so what are my options, I have a 10 year old a 16 year old son who has asthma and I as well have breathing problems, please help I don't have a lot of money but will try to do whatever I can not to suffer this summer. Any suggestions will be appreciated. also not sure which trim but its not a hatchback.

Just stop at a shop and have someone look to see if there is a AC compressor under the hood. But your car may not have one. If there is a AC compressor, then it probably just needs to be serviced. If not you'll have to find another car with AC.
Yea I had a feeling so theirs no way to put one in and if there was it would probably be way to expensive hhuh? but thank you i will definitely be stopping somewhere to check, it is going to be 80 today and its just the beginning.
I own a Hyundai Accent that actually didn't even come with A/C, just purchased it. It's the most pared down no frills base model. If you have the same model you simply don't have an air conditioner at all, Hyundai excluded it (along with even a stereo in some of them) just to save pennies. You can get one installed after market though, usually for about $500-$700, about $250 if you do it yourself. In the mean time if you don't have the money on hand there are also small cooling units you can get that will plug into the cigarette lighter that are inexpensive to hold you over.
Did not put any kind of set up for 2008” air conditioning? I Live in Hawaii we all need the AC units w/ the rest of unit. By the way “Not Easy”.Aloha’T
