We have a 2012 chevy malibu that dies when I am going on to the on ramps of the highway. I have changes the fuel pump, sensors, battery. Now what. Its scarey that it turns off altogether. I am afraid

We have a chevy that turns off when we go on the on ramps of the highway.
we replaced the feul pump, battery amnd a few sensors. I am afraid for the
safety of my grand daughter that borrows it for school. We have brought this
car in fice times now. we don't have much money left for repairs. help

would that turn the car off. The tach goes down when this is to happen. I can put it in neutral and reb it up and then put it back in gear and it will go.

so it stays running but starts acting like its in neutral.im sorry tryin understand exactly what its doing.

I also have a 2006 Malibu and I hit a curb so hard. It actually turned the car off and I had to restart it. There may be a saftey switch on our cars that could be shorting out. Ask your mechanic to look into that. It makes perfect sense to me.
