Power surge while driving

Asked by Mirko Feb 07, 2019 at 12:18 PM about the 2012 Chevrolet Malibu

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2012 Chevy malibu tends to surge its dashboard controls every few
minutes while driving. The speedometer and fuel gauges will dip to zero for a
second and the radio will also go out while other dashboard alerts will flash for
a second. Could this be an electrical or computer issue?

That's how it starts. It will start to die on you. Get your battery cables changed. I did it almost a year ago and it hasn't happened since
