anti theft sytem

Asked by cicastoreno Oct 14, 2018 at 08:27 PM about the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

would the anti theft system on my chrysler town and country stop the key fob
from unlocking any of the doors and prevent any of the lights including the
radio to work? would it also lock the key in the ignition? when we got out of
the store yesterday nothing worked it was like there was no power at all,
absolutely no sounds of any kind had to us the key that  was in the key fob to
unlock the driver side door. Does any one have any idea how to fix the
problem?

I have changed battery and alternator it ran fine for 2miles and all the lights came on again and not nothing no lights windows are stuck down red light is on thats it. I was able to get the key out but van wont do anything. Is there a way for me to be able to deactivate the anti theft
