you can replace the gas cap itself, as it may not be sealing, the evap system if it is a leak, will either be large or small, that would appear in the code!!!!! how long ago did you purchase the car? why is it not under warranty? Note: if it was a gas cap, after putting it back on correctly, the system would reevaluate itself, and clear....the egr is a valve which should not be dirty so soon....do you leave it running while refueling? DO NOT STOP GOING TO THE DEALER, as each comes in, they blow it off with a quick fix until the warranty is up (usually), do not go to your sales person, but to the manager of the service department, or even his boss....as to not be blown off by the tech.
This happens on our 2012 Touring when we fuel up with the engine running. Turn off the engine when fueling and problem hasn't happened since.
This happened to me once in the beginning. I just make sure the gas cap is on tight each tIme (tightened at least two clicks) and I haven't had a problem since.
