Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2012 Nissan Sentra will start perfectly fine but
when I put it in gear it shuts off. Kinda jumps when
it does. It's never done this before. I filled my gas
up last night and about 20 minutes after when I
would step on the gas it would jump

It's stays started in park or neutral as soon as I move it from one of those is when it automatically shuts off

It could be the ignition . There is a chip in your key if it some how brakes the car will start in park but when you put it in drive it will only go a couple of feet then die . It seems like your not getting enough gas and a lot of peopl think its the pump but most likely it's the key chip
