fuel pump not running

Asked by PianoWorld Jun 23, 2017 at 06:30 PM about the 2012 Nissan Pathfinder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

car suddenly wouldn't start (turns over fine but not even trying to catch).
Local shop said fuel pump not running, but when they tried temporarily plugging in a new fuel pump, it wouldn't run either.
needed new battery, replaced battery, didn't help. Local garage mentioned something about u1000 error, but they aren't equipped for the full diagnostics.
thoughts or suggestions?
