What test are they performing? The proper test is a load test when the battery is fully charged. If that turns out ok then hook up a millimeter to the battery while the car is running. Set on volts DC, you should have 13.5-14.5 volts. If not then the alternator is the problem.

They hooked up a machine to the battery while the car was on. He said it looked fine. But why wouldnt it be the battery if when someone jumped me off it starts up no problem. I will take it to the mac. Tomorrow I just wanted to prepare my self for what was to come

Sounds like they did the alternator test that I described. I still think a battery load test is in order. They have a device that puts a lode on it for no more than 10 seconds. If it is less than 9 volts or so then the battery is bad. Would love to know the fix. If you would post it it might help someone.thanks and merry christmas
