White residue on spark plugs

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

White residue on spark plugs?  Decided to change them
when dash lights came on...cruise and brake lights blink
while ABS and check engine stay on steady.  Car runs more
smoothly when they are off, which only happens for the
first 500 miles after an oil change.   Thoughts?
