AT FIRST WE THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE THE KEY WAS BEING LEFT IN THE CAR OVER NIGHT AND GETTING TOO COLD. BUT NOW IT SEEMS THAT THAT ISN'T THE CASE. THE KEY WAS IN THE HOUSE OVER NIGHT AND THIS MORNING AND THE CAR STILL WOULDN'T DETECT THE KEY FOR ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES.
The battery in the key is weak,
My Daughter has a 2013 Hyundai Sonata push button car. When she gets in and pushes button car say insert Key, so she put key in console and still would not start. I told her to try her interior lights and she said they wouldn't come on so I'm thinking it's her car Battery. My daughter seems to thing it's her key program. Any ideas on what it could be? hoping it's not car computer.
