The Cargurus review of the 2013 Acura RDX states that regular gas can be used. This seems to conflict with what dealers say. Who's right?

Your manual should tell you the type of fuel to use. Look the in specifications section of your manual.

Also you do have a 10.5 : 1 comp ratio. This would indicate high octane fuel....but you also have knock sensors to over come the downfalls of low octane fuels. What you sacrifice with the savings of lower octane fuels is mpg. This is because the engine has to compensate for the lower grade fuel and the result is lower mpg.
