Sensor?
Asked by Sandra Jun 06, 2018 at 11:20 AM about the 2013 Hyundai Elantra
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
As I am driving the car the tire pressure light comes on and starts flashing
and at the same time the radio and the clock shut off. The tire light stops
flashing within thirty seconds to a minute. I also can not use my key fob to
lock my doors until the car has reset. Usually car will reset between five
mintues to an hour. (where I can play the radio and see the clock etc, ) this is
starting to happen more and more now. The car is four years old. I have
taken it to the dealer and they could not find anything wrong with it. I am
starting to get tired of this and want it to stop. I was really upset that dealer
could not find anything wrong with the car; when clearly it has a problem with
it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have this exact same problem and can't find answer either. Did you ever figure it out?
Irwin, Pittsburgh, PA, 2013 Elantra GT I too have a 2013 Elantra and am having the same exact problem and have taken to the dealer numerous times. They cannot find out the problem and been told by Hyundai Consumer Affairs that without a diagnosis there is nothing that they can do and that I need to take it into the shop when this occurs, however as stated, this is impossible to do since the variability of time before resetting. My concern is that the problem will intensify resulting in a complete shutdown of my vehicle while driving.
This happened to me and my car would reset while it was off overnight resulting in me needing a new battery. I am currently having this problem now. I don’t want to have to pay for another battery.
Did anyons here ever get an answer on this? I have this problem too.
Irwin, I finally received a resolution to this problem. It took multiple visits to the service department. The problem persisted last weekend and I was able to get it to the service department with the problem continuing and were able to get an answer from the Hyundai Techline case # 2018112600424, . Reported a code from a system scan B102052DTC in the cluster. The problem was found to be related to a problem with the INTERIOR JUNCTION BOX Part Number 91950-A6011. I have attached a picture of my work order. Hope this helps. I put up with this problem for over a year, talked to Hyundai Customer Care, several times, took it into to the dealer numerous times, however they could never identify the issue since the issue never repeated when the car was in their possession and driven.
