If you had the garage door closed you were flooding the air with CO2 and CO (carbon monoxide) AND using up all the oxygen. Your car is not air tight you know.
Unless the heater control was set to recirculate you were bringing outside air in.
Don't idle the car in the garage and get some fresh air.
