Question type: Car Customization

Alright so here is the problem. The person who owned the car before me had a green license frame cover on the car, but he cut the wires when he got pulled over and told it was illegal in Chicago. I want to install a toggle switch just to be able to turn it on say just to show off the car, not to drive with it.

Problem is, I need to know the specs of the license plate cover. It has something written on the top that says redline. I don't know the model, but can't find the site for it.

The toggle switch I have has specs of.....

Brand: Calterm
30A
12V DC
Model: 40293
Green Led toggle switch
on/off SPST

the pins are

'1              '2            '3
Battery(+)  Accessory      Ground(-)

I need to know the amp rating of the license plate cover.

I know it's not much to go on but any help is appreciated. :)

Amp rating of 30A is max, so you won't need any more than that for your plate cover. I would start with a 20A fuse, this should not hurt your plate cover.
