96 3.8 t bird no power. replaced the switch under the dash work'd a couple of times

Need more details of what the problem is. Did you replace the ignition switch?

replaced switch under colum but not key switch

Make sure the ignition switch you replaced didn't jump out of place or the rod that works it isn't out of place or broken.

Changed ignition switch (key) starts a few Times then no power ??????

I think the rod between the key switch and the ignition switch is broken.

Is that rod available anywhere ?

Dealer or a junk yard.

Ford still sevices that rod ?

They can probably order it unless it has been discontinued. Then junk yard only. Yes they will install it too.
