Will this remote car starter work on my car?

Hi,

A friend wants to sell me this remote car starter
(https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/prostart-4-button-remote-starter-with-
keyless-entry-0340743p.html) and I just want to know if there's any reason
for me not to buy it (i.e it doesn't work with this model?  Sorry, it may be a
dumb question).

The only way to know would be to contact the company that makes the remote starter. I do not advise after market starters as they involve cutting into the wiring all over the car which will probably lead to endless problems.
