The gas hose clicks off many times during refueling. How is this fixed?

When filling up the gas tank, the handle on the hose will click off before the
tank is full. By taking the gas handle on the hose out and reinserting it, more
gas can be put in the tank. The problem seems worse in warmer weather.

This is probably caused by a bad fuel tank vent. Have your EVAP system checked out.
Try to put your nozzle in deeper. They like that. Then try not putting your nozzle in too deep..........
Just pointing out that some like it deep and some not. My 2014 Ram likes the nozzle all the way in the tank, but when I had my 2006 Corvette it would not take fuel with a deeply inserted nozzle. ;)

2013 OB? Hmmm...I know that the vent valve on '08+ Imps had this pricey problem, but not later OB/Legs. May involve removing tank to access...but maybe not.
Warm. Hot, weather can make it impossible for me to put any fuel in the tank. If I fill first thing in the morning when it's cool, ie, cars been in the garage over night, I can fill it up.
Yes 2021 I noticed my 2013 Subaru OB did the same thing. Winter in MN sucks , but didn't have a trickle fill up problem. Now that's its warmer I have to trickle the gas in. What was the outcome MDX
