How to Disable my Alarm system

I bought my 2013 chevy equinox the other day , it
did not come with a push key remote . Everytime I
unlock the door to get in the car the alarm goes off
, it wont shut off until I start the car , is there a way
to disable the alarm so I dont have to hear this
everytime I get into my vehicle?

The dealership never gave me a fob so the alarm goes off everytime I open my door. I have to start the car to turn off . I dont want to have to purchase one , I was wondering was there a way around to disable the alarm so it dont go off everytime
