2013 Buick Verano shuts off while driving
Hello! Please help! My engine light went on
for a few days goes on and off. While
driving my car shut off. I turned my ignition
off and back in it started up fine, when I’m
driving it “skips” then slowly shuts off! Help
please!

ANSWER Hello, I have a 2014 Buick Verano that has been progressively getting worse. My car has been unexpectedly shutting off while driving. Sometimes when I’m switching to reverse or hitting a speed bump or getting on a freeway. After having my entire power system tested I wasn’t able to find a problem until I actually removed my battery and noticed that one bolt on the plates over my battery was loose and had apparent ark marks. I’m no mechanic but I’m assuming every time that bolt arked is when my car shut off. Since tightening that bolt (without even putting in a new battery) my car hasn’t had a single problem. I hope this helped, because while googling for help I couldn’t find any idea to even start with.
