Squeaking after a turn

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
1992 Isuzu bighorn - makes squeaking sound during and after turning. Sound goes
away after going straight for some time. Initially thought problem with belts as
previously sound appears when starting. After belt replacement, sound appears
only during and after turning. Does this indicate power steering problem? How
can it be fixed. Thanks folks.

what kind of squeaking is it? does it sound like it may be your power steering struggling to work the rack+pinion? or is it from the rear of the car (maybe being a differential problem)
It's at the front. I do not feel any difference or difficulties in turning.
Im having the same problem..squeaking comes from the front whenever i turn the steering but only when the air-conditioning unit is turn on, when it is not everything seems normal..but sometimes when the aircond unit is turn on there are no squeaking but when i turn the wheel it comes again then the squeaking continues untill i turn off the aircon unit...
Just a thought...is there any connection between power steering fluid leaking, squeaking sound, air-conditioning unit (compressor)N belting that causes the sound?
