The screen goes dark when lights are switched on in daytime.
By law I have to switch on lights in winter in daytime. The screen which shows clock, fuel
consumption, Aircondition etc becomes completely dark. Is there any way I can make it
visible? Thank you for help.

According to Edmunds.com your Honda has daytime running lights, but your State still requires you turn on lights for taillights and everything? OK, let's go with that, your dimmer may be turned all the way off, check your owners manual for how to set dimmers. If all else fails, it's still under warranty.
not sure if its the same, but in my 07 accord on my spedometer the button to reset the trip odometer is used to darken or lighten the dash. this is done by turning said button left or right. hope that helps otherwise as david said check your owners manual
I agree with you, same on my CRV. Even if I turn the console light all the way up. It's only dim in the daytime because it's amber or orange, it's ok at night. Green will probably good for next design or make it changeable to green on daytime or amber at night. I will probably change it to white LED to make it brighter and keep me alert at night.
