2013 fiat 500 pop trunk sometimes doesn't open

My trunk door just opens when it feels like it. Sometimes works, sometimes
doesn't, but I always hear a click when  I push the trunk open button on the
remote.  Fiat 2013 500 pop,

I’ve read so many different things that could go wrong along with the reprogramming by pressing the sunroof open and close that seem to work for most but not all. Unfortunately mine doesn’t have a sunroof, but……I fixed it today by simply opening all doors and pressing the trunk release once, and press a second time and holding the trunk release button until the light goes out. And voila! It’s back to normal… for now. Good luck!!!
