rear window in my  2013 toyota yaris has little, white, faint, squares. This just
started recently. Would like to know what causes this. BTW, it's a hatchback.

Not sure about the reference to photos? As I mentioned the problem just started recently. Have owned the car since 2015, 4 years ago. Don't think it has anything to do with the glass being tempered, otherwise, the little white squares would have shown up long before the present.
