Code 82 showing in dash

I would read your owners manual. That might be a maintenance code, probably oil change due. If the manual does not have that info then call your dealer.

F_O_R is correct. Code 82 is the oil change maintenance code. I happen to know this because my girlfriend has a 2014 Spark and the code is easy to reset. Search You Tube for the exact procedure but you turn the key on and select menu for the reset.
